Case filed against Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Kurup in Kerala High Court


The Kerala High Court has filed a case against Dulquer salmaan-Starrer Kurup, due in theaters on November 12.

PIL Filed By Resident Of Kochi Says Film May Violate Privacy Sukumara Kurup, notorious criminal, based on which the film was made.

The Kerala High Court sent notices to the Center, the state government, Interpol and film producers in response to the PIL. However, the court did not issue an order to suspend production of the film.

The upcoming Kurup crime saga tells the story of a con man who killed a man named Chaco in 1984 and used the corpse to subsequently fake his own death to demand insurance payments.

Dulquer salmaan plays Sukumara Kurup, who escaped arrest by the police for nearly four decades, and his story has become a legend.

Kurup was supposed to be released in May 2021. COVID-19 With a second wave and subsequent isolation, the film was shelved.
