CLAT Exam 2022 Latest News: Provisional answer key released


CLAT Exam 2022 Latest News and Updates: Common Law Entrance Test or CLAT a national-level entrance examination administered for admission to national law schools. CLAT is the entry gate for admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses offered by 22 participating NLUs and run by Consortium of National Law Universities.

Currently, undergraduate courses are offered by all 22 National Law Universities (NSW) and postgraduate courses are offered at 19 NSW. In addition to NLU, 61 other private colleges accept CLAT scores for admission to law programs. Some community organizations such as ONGC and BHEL use CLAT-PG scores for hiring.

The exam is held in pen and paper format. The test lasts 2 hours. The test for bachelors consists of 150 questions, and for graduate students – of 120 questions. One point is awarded for each correct answer, and 0.25 is deducted for each incorrect answer. The questions are divided into 5 subjects, namely English and current events, including general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative methods.

CLAT 2022 will be held on June 19, 2022 from 14:00 to 18:00. exam registration process started on January 1 and closed on May 9. pre-response key has been released June 20th.
