For an amazing journey as team, Virat Kohli thanks outgoing support staff

Captain of India Virat Koli on Wednesday thanked the outgoing head coach Ravi Shastri and the other support staff, whose terms ended at the T20 World Cup, and praised them for their contributions to the amazing kit.

While India failed to reach the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Championship in the UAE, the Shastri-Kohli duo, along with bowling coach Bharat Arun and reigning coach R. Sridhar, participated in a system that won two test series in Australia.

The team leads 2-1 in five test runs in England due to be completed next year. The departure of Shastri & Co. marks the end of an era in Indian cricket.

“Thank you for all the memories and the amazing journey that we went along with all of you as one team. Your contribution was enormous and will forever remain in the history of Indian cricket, Kohli wrote, resigning from the position of captain of T20, on his Twitter page, praising the coaching staff.

“I wish you all the best in your life. Until next time, ”he said.

From November 17 Rohit Sharma will be the new captain of India T20 with Rahul Dravid Main coach.
Rohit is expected to take over the ODI’s tour of South Africa.
