INI CET 2022 January session result declared; know seat allocation process, tie-breaking criteria


All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, announced INI CET 2021 results for admission to the January 2022 session.The Comprehensive Admission Test of the Institute of National Importance (INI CET) 2022 was held on November 14, 2021 in computer mode. The resulting PDF provides details such as list number, category, overall ranking, percentile of qualified candidates. Percentile points in INI CET Exam 2021 should be used to determine eligibility for participating INIs.

Only those candidates who have achieved the minimum qualifying percentile in the INI CET will be declared eligible. UR, EWS, Sponsored / Delegated / Foreign / OCI candidates must achieve at least 50th percentile, while OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, Bhutanese (PGI Chandigarh) candidates must achieve 45th percentile.

After the announcement of the result, if two or more candidates receive the same marks in the test, then a tie will be resolved by successively fulfilling the criteria for dividing into a draw. A candidate with fewer negative ratings will receive a higher rating. If the tie persists, then the older candidate will be placed higher.

The allocation of seats will only take place online. For the allocation of places, at least two rounds must be held, after which an open round can be held. The allocation of seats will be based on merit, the selection made by the candidates and the reservation policy of the various INIs.

INI CET is an entrance exam that leads to admission to MD / MS / M.Ch (6 years) / DM (6 years) / MDS courses. Through INI CET 2022, admission will be made to renowned institutions such as AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS located in Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh, SKTIMST Trivandrum.
