NorthEast United FC fought for a while, but failed to stop riotous Hyderabad, which took a 5-1 victory at the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Monday.
A third win in five games propelled Hyderabad into second place behind Mumbai City. He has 10 points, two less than the leader. NEUFC remains on four points and comes second from the bottom.

However, NorthEast returned to the game two minutes before the first half. In hand-to-hand combat, after a long-range throw, Tondonba Singh Laldanmavia managed to find the target.
After the break, NorthEast came out stronger and pressed hard on the equalizer. But control over Hyderabad soon returned.
Ogbeche finished 3-1 with a magnificent shot from outside the box. Hyderabad is not over yet as substitutes Aniket and Siverio scored in injury time and the North East was an unforgettable night.
