Some of India’s biggest golf stars, including Shiv Kapoor and Gaganjit Bhullar, will play at the famous Chandigarh Golf Club when the fourth Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational kicks off here on Thursday.
Presented by TAKE Sports, the 1.5 crore tournament is part of the TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and will feature a stellar course including SSP Chawrasia, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Jyoti Randhawa, reigning champion Karandip Kochhar, besides host Jiva.
The field, which will be attended by 129 participants, including 126 professionals and three amateurs, will also see a presence Rashid Khan, former champion Chikkarangappa (2018), Udayan Mane, Viraj Madappa, Hani Baisoya, Manu Gandas and Vir Ahlavat.
The overseas challenge will be led by Sri Lankans Anura Rohana, Mithun Perera, N Tangaraja and K. Prabagaran, as well as Bangladeshi residents M.D. Zamal Hossein Molla, Badal Hossein, M.D. Sayum, M.D. Dulal Hossein and M.D. Akbar Hossein.

The main event on Wednesday will be preceded by a Pro-Am event. This year’s Pro-Am event was dedicated to legendary sprinter Milka Singh, Jiva’s father, who passed away earlier this year.
The Pro-Am event was named Milkha Singh Pro-Am Day, dedicated to the legend.
