NEET 2021: Carpenter’s son bags seat in AIIMS; Sisodia says has created history

Among the 496 Delhi students who passed the 2021 NEET Medical Entrance Exam, there are two public school students, Kushal Garg and Ishika Jain. Both received 700 points out of 720 and took places in the AIIMS.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia congratulated the top scorers on Wednesday.

The 2021 NEET results were announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on November 1.

In a series of tweets, Manish Sisodia said, “The story was created by Delhi Public School student Kushal Garg. He scored 700 points out of 720. Rating 165 in India, place in AIIMS. Father of the 10th pass, carpenter. Mother of 12th point, House of the wife. Congratulations to Kushal. I’m proud of you.”

“Another student of Delhi Public School Ishika Jain from Surajmal Vihar also scored 700/720 in NEET … AIR 156 and got a place in AIIMS !! Congratulations to Ishika. Her father (12th aisle) runs a stationery store and her mother (10th aisle) is a housewife, ”he said in another tweet.

“Wow! Sooo many students from Delhi public schools are NEET qualified. Unimaginable a few years ago. Congratulations to the students, their parents and teachers. Together, you showed that it is possible,” Kejrival tweeted.

Kushal Garg was a student of the UAV Kishan Ganj, and Ishika Jain was a student of the UAV Surajmal Vihar.
