Neetu Kapoor wraps up Jug Jugg Jeeyo shoot, says film helped her gain confidence


Veteran actor Nitu Kapoor said Friday that she has completed filming for her upcoming film, Jag Jagg Jyo.

Supported by the director Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions, stars of the family comedy drama Varun Dhavan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor.

Filmmaker Raj Mehta, who directed the 2019 hit Good Newwz.

Jag Jugg Jiyo marks Nitu Kapoor’s return to the big screen after seven years.

63-year-old actor took on Instagram, posted a photo of herself from the dressing room and said that the experience of working on the film helped her regain her confidence.

“Finally wrapping up #jugjuggjeeyo was such a wonderful experience … made some great friends … gained the confidence that was so needed at the time … this movie will always be special,” Kapoor wrote.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo director Raj Mehta posted Nitu’s post and wrote a long note for the actor.

Nitu Kapoor started filming Jug Jugg Jeeyo in November 2020 after her husband, a Bollywood star. Rishi Kapoor died in April 2020.

Varun Dhawan and Kiara Adwani recently finished filming for the new Jug Jugg Jeeyo schedule.

The film also stars Maniesh Pol and Prajakta Kohli.
