Over 18.53 kr unused doses of COVID vaccine are available in the States, UT: Center.

The remainder of over Rs 18.53 and unused doses of COVID-19 vaccine are still available in the states and union territories, as well as the Department of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday.

The ministry also said that so far 1,23,19,12,030 doses of the vaccine have been made available to states and union territories through a free channel and through the direct government procurement category.

The scaling up of vaccination has been strengthened by the availability of more vaccines, raising awareness of vaccine availability for states and UT, which has allowed them to better plan and optimize the vaccine supply chain.

The center aims to accelerate the pace and scale up of COVID-19 vaccinations across the country. A new phase in the universalization of COVID-19 vaccination began on June 21, 2021.

As part of a nationwide vaccination campaign, the Indian government is supporting states and UT by providing COVID vaccines for free.

In the new phase of universalizing COVID-19 vaccination, the Union government will purchase and supply (free of charge) 75 percent of the vaccines produced by vaccine manufacturers in the country, states and states.
