Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated the anniversary of the deceased on friday Wajid Khanbirthday anniversary with brother and musical partner Sajid Khan. Wajid passed away in June 2020 due to COVID-19 complications at age 47.
On the Instagram account of Sajid-Wajid, as the duo was called, a video has been posted in which Salman can sing a birthday song with Sajid Khan as they cut the cake. Salman blew out the candle.
The caption to the video read: “Kaise bataye Kisko sunaye kitna tumhe hum chahte hai ❤️ WE LOVE YOU VAJID, the world loves you @beingsalmankhan #SajidWajid #Salmankhan #TaaleemMusic #HappyBirthday.”

Wajid, together with his older brother Sajid, began a joint musical career as “Sajid-Wajid”. Their first Bollywood project was with Salman Khan himself in his 1998 film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. They went on to write music for Hello Brother, Partner, Hello, God Tussi Great Ho, Wanted, Veer, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Tere Naam, Mujhse. Shaadi Karogi and Ek Ta Tigr.
Their most popular association with Salman was the Dabangg franchise, with Dabangg 3 also being Sajid-Wajid’s last collaboration.
