CPET-2022 will be held from 1 to 13 August. The Uniform Application Form (CAF) will be available online from June 27 to July 12 on the website.

“Applicants whose final undergraduate (UG) results are pending (not published) may also apply online for the test. But they must upload their scores in advance of preparing for the “subject and national provisional rankings” by the deadline. otherwise their application will not be considered,” said Rajesh Kumar Sahu, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education. Universities hosting CPET will submit entry points to the Odisha Computer Application Center (OCAC) here by August 22. Applicants can upload final/equivalent grades until August 20 (17:00). On August 25 (14:00) the subject and national merit list will be published. The selection of suitable candidates will begin on August 25 and will last until August 30.
The preliminary distribution of places for the first round will be published on September 5 (16:00). Selected students in the first round will report on selected educational institutions for admission by September 7 (17:00). Similarly, the provisional distribution of places for the second round will be published on September 13 (12:00). The second round of admission for eligible students will be held from 14 to 15 September (17:00).
If any seats remain vacant after the first and second rounds of PG admissions, a selection of seats will be made for this. A preliminary list of vacancies will be published on the SAMS website on September 20th. The list of credit places will be published on September 23. Candidates will go to the universities for the selection of places from September 24 and September 26 (17:00).
The final list of selected candidates will be posted for enrollment at 12:00 pm on September 28th. Reception and updating of data of candidates from the list of candidates will take place on 29 and 30 September.
Starting this year, the department will not charge entry fees from undergraduate (UG) and graduate (PG) students during the centralized admissions process. Students will directly pay entrance fees to colleges where they finally enroll.
“Once the e-admission process for the 2022-2023 session is completed, the Department will later announce the dates for the collection of admission fees for the relevant colleges and universities,” Sahu said.
The department began conducting this test from 2020. After passing this one test, students will be awarded a place at any of the public universities according to his/her eligibility and entry performance.
