Schools in Odisha to reopen for classes 6 and 7 from November 15 onwards

Students are allowed to attend classes both online and offline. The department said that offline attendance is not mandatory for students.

“The state government is happy to authorize the opening of schools for students in grades VI and VII for the 2021-21 school year and November 15, 2021,” the Department of Information and Public Affairs tweeted.

The Department of School and Mass Education stressed that everyone must comply with the relevant Covid protocols.

Classroom teaching has been suspended since March 2020 due to coronavirus pandemic. From November 15, first-year graduate students will resume their studies.

Physics classes for first-year undergraduate students for the 2021-2022 academic session began in Odisha on November 1. Physical classes began in grades 10 and 12 on July 26, grade 11 on October 21, and grade 8 on October 25.
