The Maharashtra state government has authorized the Royal West Indian Turf Club (RWITC) to race with spectators at the Pune Racecourse.

“I am delighted to announce that a final permit has been given to race with spectators at the Pune Racecourse. The gate will open Sunday (November 21) for our visitors vaccinated with a double dose of COVID-19 vaccine. We are looking to resume racing in Mumbai with spectators and this is expected to happen soon, ”RWITC Chairman Zavaray S. Punavalla said in a statement.
