Actor Taapsi Pannu said Tuesday that she has finished filming her new film Shabaash Mithu, a biopic about Indian cricketer Mitali Raj. In the film, the star Tappad takes on the role of captain of the Indian women’s cricket team.
The 34-year-old actor took to Instagram and posted a snapshot announcing the cape.
“I was 8 years old when someone made me dream that one day cricket would not be just a game for gentlemen. Even we will have our team, personality. “Women in Blue”. We’ll be there soon. #ShabaashMithu It’s a film! Get ready to cheer for the 2022 World Cup! #WomenInBlue, ”wrote Pannu.
Shabaash Mithu is directed by Srijit Mukherjee, who replaced director Rahul Dholakia after the latter was forced to leave the project due to a schedule change.
