The Game Awards 2021 to air on Indian networks

Gaming titan Jeff Keiley has announced that “The Game Awards 2021” will once again be distributed on Indian networks. The event, often referred to as the Oscars in Games, is scheduled for December 10, 2021 at 6:30 am ET, live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The news relates to a partnership with Nodwin Gaming, a leading esports company in India. This year’s The Game Awards will air on major streaming platforms such as Disney + Hotstar, MTV India, Voot, JioTV, and MXPlayer. YouTube Gaming will also be streaming the co-op in Hindi.

Last year, The Game Awards took place digitally online and reached over 83 million viewers across all platforms, making it the most viewed title ever. This time around, the event will be attended by an invitation-only personal audience and is said to be showing 40 to 50 titles “one way or another”.

The Game Awards, hosted by Jeff Kayley himself, is an annual video game event that celebrates industry achievements. Viewers will find trailers for new games, special celebrity performances, live music performances and an on-stage orchestra.

Earlier this week, the music streaming giant – Spotify Announces Partnership With The Game Awards also. The company will act as the official audio streaming partner and present a series of podcasts of four episodes leading up to the show.

The 2021 Game Awards will be streamed live on the official YouTube and Twitch channels.
