According to government sources, the union cabinet is likely to pass bills to repeal three agricultural laws for approval on Wednesday.
They added that these bills should be introduced at the upcoming session of parliament.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced on the occasion of Gurupurab the government’s intention to repeal laws in the interests of the nation.
The winter session of parliament will begin on November 29.
Demanding the repeal of the laws, agitating farmers sitting in three plots on the Delhi border since November last year said they I will stay where I am until Parliament repeals them.
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement, the government will submit bills to parliament to abolish three agricultural laws.
