Delhi reported 89 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. At the same time, the number of cases of COVID-19 in the capital of the country exceeded 14.33 million people, and the death toll – 24,965 people. According to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi Department of Health, there have been 4 fatalities in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 positivity rate in the capital was 0.12 percent.
The country’s capital reported 85 cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, the lowest daily rate this year, with a positive rate of 0.12 percent and nine deaths.
Amid a recent drop in daily chores, the Delhi government on Saturday allowed weddings in banquet rooms, wedding halls and hotels with 50 people, and reopening gyms and yoga centers by 50 percent as part of a phased unlock process initiated by the city’s improvement with COVID-19. The relaxation will take effect from 5 am on Monday.
In an order issued late Saturday night, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) said marriages will continue to be permitted in courts or homes with a maximum of 20 people, subject to strict COVID-compliant rules of conduct.
According to a health bulletin issued by the Delhi government, 74,198 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the past 24 hours.
In the capital of the country, 14 33 934 cases were registered, including 14 07 401 patients who were either discharged, migrated, or recovered. The number of active cases is 1568, of which 478 are in home isolation.
