IN Oneplus The Nord 2, a true sequel to last year’s Nord, is expected to be the next smartphone to be released by OnePlus. The device is said to be the brand’s first OnePlus device not to feature a Qualcomm-made chip, instead opting for the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 1200 tier to make the phone more affordable.
The device was previously spotted on the BIS listing with Dimensity 1200 and 8GB of RAM. The phone may also have 12GB of RAM, just like the original OnePlus Nord. And now a new leak from tipster Steve McFly (@OnLeaks) through 91Mobile gives us a first look at the alleged design of the OnePlus Nord 2. Take a look here.

The back of the phone is gray and has a brushed metal finish. At the top left is the triple camera module, resembling OnePlus 9 series design language. Unlike the Nord CE, the alert slider is visible on the right along with the power button, while the volume rockers are still on the left.
The original Nord had dual front cameras, but the new Nord 2 only has one front camera enclosed in a hole. There is still a USB Type-C port, SIM tray and speaker grill at the bottom, but the top of the phone looks clean. Other expected specs include a 6.43-inch FHD + AMOLED 90Hz screen, a 4,500mAh battery, a 50MP main camera sensor on the back, and a 32MP front camera sensor.
Note that OnePlus has not yet officially confirmed the device, and while these specs may look very believable, it is possible that key details will change between now and the actual announcement of the device.
