The President of Indian Friday has appointed vice-rectors of 12 central universities. At the same time, 12 out of 22 positions of vice-chancellor were filled. These universities had long vacancies in venture capital positions and the decision was made taking into account all the recommendations mentioned by the University Grants Commission.
At the same time, 12 out of 22 vacant positions of vice-chancellor were filled. 10 central universities, including JNU & DU, still lack higher education degrees.
