Shilpa Shetty’s Monday Motivation video mixes cardio and bhangra to burn calories

Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra just discovered a fun way to workout in the gym that includes bhangra and lots of cardio. Are you confused? Well, her latest video will dispel all doubts.

Shilpa She recently took to Instagram to post a motivational video of her doing cardio in the gym on Monday. The video begins with her husband Raj Kundra declaring, “Bhangra pavan (Let’s do bhangra).” The actor then shuffled from side to side on a 6-inch platform. She jumped from one side to the other, performing the steps of the bhangra with her hands. So proving that cardio isn’t boring at all.

According to Shilpa, this workout is an excellent “high-intensity interval exercise for the lower body.” Doing this routine will strengthen your heart and lungs, and burn more calories. Regarding the bhangra steps she took, the actor said their goal is to add pleasure to a rigorous routine and burn more calories.

After posting the video to a photo-sharing app, Shilpa wrote, “A different kind of #MondayMotivation today: the 6-inch Side-to-Side Shuffle platform. Cardio isn’t boring, you need to practice. A high intensity interval training exercise targeting the lower body that also trains the heart and lungs. Burn more calories in less time. Make it fun by adding Bhangra Arms; and yes, adding arms will burn more calories. “

She also suggested ways of doing the exercise. “Try 3 to 4 rounds of 1 minute each. Rest 1 minute after each round. Increasing the platform height will increase the intensity. If you are a beginner, start with 30 seconds per round on a 4 or 6 inch platform. Happy Cardioing, The SSK Way, ”she wrote.


Another benefit of side shuffling is that it is a dynamic warm-up routine that will increase your heart rate, warm up your body, and improve your flexibility. It can also help strengthen the hip flexors and all major muscles of the hips and legs.
